Paul Linsdell

Paul is a Partner in our Winchester office who joined Dutton Gregory in 2022.

Paul is a specialist in Family law having practised in this area since 2006. He is known for his personal approach when caring for his varied clients as well as his ability to guide them toward their desired goals. He has worked in niche family specialist firms as well as in larger commercial practices in both Hampshire and Surrey, as a consequence he has knowledge and good working relationships with a multitude of other family practitioners, as well as a multitude of courts including those in central London.  

Paul has significant experience of complex financial cases and is regularly instructed in cases involving business interests, trust entities, spousal maintenance, overseas assets, hidden wealth and complex pension and tax issues. His clients are varied having advised owners of businesses, professionals, members of the Film and TV industry as well vulnerable individuals, including assisting financially weaker parties.

Paul is also very experienced and accomplished in matters involving children, these include high conflict cases involving serious allegations having been made either against or by those Paul has represented. Also cases involving relocation of children, both for and against as well as regularly assisting families in achieving the best possible arrangements for their children. On many occasions Paul has assisted clients in both their financial and child matters simultaneously, his clients finding it advantageous to be supported in both areas by the same lawyer.

He also has significant experience of matters involving allegations of parental alienation, coercive control and narcissistic personality disorder having been involved when such issues have been found, and in cases in which they have been disproven.

Paul has also gained experience of appeals and variation of existing court orders during his 16 years of practice.

Finally, Paul has a wealth of experience in the area of Pre-Nuptial agreements for both the financially stronger and weaker individual.

Paul has a wide network of experts that he can utilise in all areas of his work to help his client’s and ensure their aims or resolve tricky aspects of disputes.

When appropriate Paul will deal with procedural hearings on behalf of his client and regularly attends court to support his client and carefully chosen barrister.

In his spare time Paul enjoys attending Southampton Football club on matchday with his children and is a malt whisky enthusiast.
