Poole celebrates 10 vintage years of Wave 105 Summertime in the South (free family events programme) at Custom House this week.
At the launch of the 2015 programme, Martin Ball, Managing Director of Wave 105, said: “Since our first involvement in 2006, everyone at Wave 105 has been exceptionally proud of the mix of core and new events which have grown and established themselves in Poole. Each one is enjoyed by thousands of people and helps to cement Poole’s reputation as a leading UK resort. This fantastic partnership has created a winning events formula which has gone from strength to strength. Here’s to the next ten years.”
The programme for 2015 sees over 60 events in Poole, from classic cars to fireworks and live music. A new edition to the programme is Poole Goes Vintage on 19 July - a day of vintage music, dance, fashion, entertainment and classic cars on a 1940's theme, sponsored by Dutton Gregory.
Sue Murphy, Dutton Gregory Business Development Manager, said; “We are incredibly excited to be part of bringing a brand new event to Poole that engages new audiences and draws on the growing popularity of vintage style.”
