About Tom
Tom has been drawn to Property Law since the beginning of his path at university, as he felt this area of law often has a positive outcome; allowing clients to move onto the next chapters of their lives, whether it’s their first property, or they are growing their property portfolio.
An innate desire to help people led Tom to law and he takes pride in his ability to dissipate stressful periods of people’s lives, using his experience and love for his work as main drivers.
Rewarding Elements
For Tom, delivering good news to clients, whether to inform them about completion or being able to say a challenge has been overcome, is the most rewarding aspect of his work.
Tom accepts that challenges do sometimes arise during transactions, but his calm and professional demeanour allows him to navigate these and ensure that a successful outcome is achieved.
Why Dutton Gregory?
Tom has found a clear progression path at Dutton Gregory and has noted how the support and flexibility on offer have allowed him to progress from Paralegal to Associate Solicitor.
He feels that the culture cultivates an environment “big on progression and rewarding hard work” and that we “constantly look to invest in the people and are always seeking ways to change and improve with the times”.
Because of this, Tom’s career with Dutton Gregory has spanned more than 7 years to date.
Beyond the Law
Outside of his career, Tom has a love for country music, which inspires his dreams of a road trip across the USA, starting in Nashville and cruising the Midwest.
