About Taya
Taya joined the firm in mid-2023, starting as a Legal Assistant in our Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning team before progressing into a Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Executive role in 2025.
Taya is now undertaking her training contract with the firm, where she will spend time working with different teams to develop her knowledge in various areas of law, and is currently working closely with our Employment team.
Why A Career In Law?
Taya studied law with criminology at university with an intention of pursuing a career in criminology.
However, as she progressed through her studies, she found that the legal side of the course continually piqued her interest.
Of particular interest was the challenge of problem-solving to find solutions to complex scenarios, which Taya quickly found she has an aptitude for.
Rewarding Elements
Taya has a natural desire to help people so values the opportunity to work with and assist a wide range of clients, each with their own unique circumstances and backgrounds.
Building relationships and supporting people through challenging situations is incredibly fulfilling for Taya and is a fundamental element of her enjoying her role.
Other Areas Of Interest
Taya has a passion for watching sport (predominantly rugby and F1) so would like to gain some experience in Sports Law; combining her personal interests with her legal background is something that Taya would love to explore in the future.
Away From The Law
As a keen F1 fan, Taya’s perfect holiday would include attending a race, with the next race on her dream list being Singapore.
