A Successful Day
Louis spends much of his day meeting with clients, ensuring that he fully understands their needs.
Whatever the task, his work requires attention to detail and a sharp mind, with the outcome of this being the resolution of an issue or the winning of a case, which Louis finds truly rewarding.
Louis ensures that he navigates each day’s demands and achieves results by being organised, ensuring thorough preparation, and applying quick thinking, alongside having a positive mindset.
Why Employment Law?
Employment law is a dynamic and evolving field that deals with the relationship between employers and employees.
The field often involves a variety of work; Louis advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including assisting clients on day-to-day workplace matters (such as disciplinary and grievance issues), representing clients in Employment Tribunal litigation, drafting employment contracts and preparing company policies.
Rewarding Elements
Louis finds that one of the most fulfilling aspects of his role is making a tangible difference in the workplace; by providing sound legal advice, he helps businesses and HR professionals navigate complex employment laws, resolve disputes, and foster harmonious working relationships.
The field of employment law is ever evolving, and Louis thoroughly enjoys the challenge that this brings. With each case being unique and requiring a tailored approach, he finds the work to be dynamic and engaging.
A Historical Trail Louis Would Have Liked to Attend?
Louis would have loved to have attended the trial of Anne Boleyn; Henry VIII’s reign is an infamous period of history that everyone is taught during their school years, and with the trial being held at the Tower of London, it was a very public spectacle.
