About Georgia

Since joining Dutton Gregory in October 2023 as a Legal Assistant, Georgia Oliver has quickly progressed to become a Family Executive, taking on her own caseload alongside supporting solicitors in the Family Law team.

A Successful Day

For Georgia, success is about organisation and progress. Each morning, Georgia plans her day to ensure that urgent deadlines are met and that tasks such as drafting documents, answering client enquiries, and following up new matters are completed. “A successful day is when I know I’ve delivered what clients and colleagues are counting on,” she explains.

Rewarding Work

“What I find most rewarding is supporting clients through emotional and challenging times,” Georgia says. Whether she’s assisting on matters involving divorce, finances, child arrangements, separation or cohabitation agreements, she focuses on making the process smoother and less daunting.

She also manages her own caseload of change of name deed clients, meeting them personally to prepare and sign the documents.

Beyond the Office

Curious about the law in practice, Georgia admits she would have loved to attend the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial: “It would have been a great learning experience to watch cross-examination unfold live,” she says. Away from work, her dream dinner party would include Princess Diana, Coco Chanel, and Anne Frank; three women whose strength, creativity, and resilience inspire her.

Supporting Clients

Family law often involves people navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Georgia ensures her clients feel supported through regular communication, returning calls promptly, replying to emails in good time, and offering updates so that clients always know what is happening behind the scenes.
