Ellie Davies

Ellie is a Legal PA within our Dispute Resolution team, which is led by Andrew Witt.

Every successful litigation team needs someone who knows where everything is, when everything is due and, occasionally, where the lawyers themselves are supposed to be. For us, that person is Ellie Davies.

Ellie joined Dutton Gregory in 2021, bringing with her more than a decade of legal support experience gained across a range of practice areas. As Legal PA to the Dispute Resolution team, she keeps matters moving, deadlines under control and the lawyers focused on the work that matters most to their clients. She coordinates diaries, manages communications, supports complex cases and generally ensures that good intentions are converted into completed tasks.

For clients, that means having a calm, approachable and dependable point of contact who understands that litigation can be demanding and that prompt, clear communication matters. Ellie helps ensure that enquiries reach the right lawyer, documents are dealt with efficiently and clients are kept informed throughout their matter. She is particularly skilled at quietly solving problems before anyone else has realised there was a problem, which is a useful quality in any litigation team.

Ellie has also studied British Sign Language and has a particular interest in communication and accessibility.

She is a committed supporter of the team, its clients and its work - and remains reassuringly alert to an overdue action or an over-ambitious diary.
