About Duncan
Duncan is a Partner and Solicitor within our Litigation team, which is led by Andrew Witt.
Having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, Duncan has vast experience in a number of disciplines.
Duncan is a member of both ACTAPS and ConTrA.
Duncan’s specialisms include:
- Property disputes
- Commercial disputes
- Contentious probate
- Insolvency
Duncan has particular experience in high-value Commercial Court litigation and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
Some of Duncan’s recent work includes acting in a lawful and unlawful means conspiracy claim concerning a £3 million property, culminating in a 5-day trial and, separately, a lengthy High Court professional negligence trial involving a veterinary practice.

Duncan supports his clients by making himself available and accessible, and being transparent with the next possible steps: “I try to focus on a clear strategy from the outset; clients are clear on costs and the options open to them.”
