About Darren
Darren is a Partner and Solicitor, and the Head of our Employment team.
Darren qualified as a Solicitor in 2000, and he has a BA (Hons) in European Studies and French, while he is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Darren has completed a Legal Practice Course and Continuing Professional Development courses at The College of Law, York.
Darren specialises in employment law, advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
Work undertaken by Darren includes:
- Redundancies, restructuring and collective dismissals
- Employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing of services and TUPE
- Employment aspects of TUPE in relation to insolvent businesses
- General advice on complex disciplinary and grievance processes
- Appointment and termination of senior executives and settlement agreements
- Discrimination, diversity and equal opportunities issues
- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, service agreements and employment policies
- Employment Tribunal litigation, mediation and dispute resolution
