Why A Career In Law?

Brianna credits Elle Woods for her having wanted to be a Lawyer since she was 11 years old, and she chose to specialise in Dispute Resolution because it allows her to make a positive difference to her clients during what can be stressful and uncertain times.

“I feel it is an area where you can make a real difference for your clients whilst they are going through an incredibly distressing period. No one wants to be involved in litigation, and I get to try and make their lives easier whilst going through it.”

Where Brianna Aims To Be In 15 Years

Brianna’s aims for the next 15 years include her qualifying as a Solicitor and working her way toward being a Partner at the firm.

Looking To The Future

Brianna would like to learn more about Criminal Law because it has always fascinated her.

“It was one of my favourite modules whilst doing my degree and LPC. Criminal Law plays a vital role in maintaining justice, protecting society and ensuring that individuals are held accountable for their actions.”

A Historical Trial That Brianna Would Have Liked To Have Attended

Brianna would have loved to have been involved in the Nuremberg Trials.

“They were such a landmark moment in legal history and helped shape modern justice as we know it today. The Trials dealt with some of the most serious crimes ever committed and demonstrated the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions, regardless of their position or power.”

Of particular interest to Brianna would have been seeing how the legal teams gathered the evidence, presented the cases and ensured that the defendants received a fair trial, despite bias.
