About Alison
Alison joined the firm in 2025, instantly becoming a valued member of our Wills, Trust & Estate Planning team.
Why Law As A Profession?
Alison has held an interest in law from a young age, but her career started off in a different field.
However, that burning desire to dip her toe into law was strong, so she started studying with CILEx while continuing in her previous career.
Alison reminisces on how she and her young daughter would spend many evenings doing their ‘homework’ together, as she worked hard to qualify and make her dream a reality, while also supporting her daughter’s education.
Supporting Clients
Alison is a naturally caring person, and this extends to her clients.
Outlining how she supports her clients, Alison says that she takes the time to understand their needs, while also reassuring them that they are doing the best that they can.
Alison likes to give her clients the confidence that once their Wills and LPAs are in place, they can relax and live their lives in the knowledge that everything is organised for them, no matter what the future holds.
Rewarding Elements
Alison understands that, for many of her clients, her initial consultation with them will be the first time that they have entered a Solicitor’s office, so she ensures that they fully understand each step that needs to be taken, and explains how she can support them.
By putting her clients at ease, Alison is able to build trust and ensure that their aims are achieved.
Why Dutton Gregory?
Alison has previously worked mainly in small to mid-sized firms and enjoys building ongoing personal relationships with her clients.
On joining Dutton Gregory, Alison noted how, even though we are a larger firm, we retain the personal touch but with the added benefit of having a much larger team to support her and her clients.
