About Alex
Alex joined the firm in 2022 and works nationally across all departments in our Business Development team.
Alex grew up wanting to be a geography teacher; helping people to see the world the way that she saw it was something that she was deeply passionate about, and one of Alex’s teachers left a lasting impression for the care and support that she offered to her.
While studying, Alex started working in property where she could help people to find and keep their homes, and this continued across the next 20 years (and counting) as she has worked in residential estate agency, lettings and financial services.
No matter her career role, Alex has maintained that focus on helping people secure and keep their own piece of freedom, and in doing so Alex feels that she is repaying the faith and support shown by her teacher, all those years ago.
Why Business Development?
In Alex’s own words, she “fell into law, not as a lawyer but as a champion of property.”
Having initially supported the Property Conveyancing team and helped to develop the firm’s northern branch, today Alex works nationally in Business Development, focusing on strategy and data to help our teams deliver exceptional service.
“Every day, I support colleagues as they help people navigate the complexities of law to meet their property, family or business needs.”
Why Dutton Gregory?
Alex describes the opportunity to represent Dutton Gregory as “a real honour”.
“What I’ve learned is that there are so many vital roles within a firm, all contributing to its success. I love being part of that wider national team, helping to deliver the best possible service.”
A real positive for Alex is how her role is so interesting, with no two days being the same, and she really enjoys supporting team members, senior leadership and our clients every day.
Beyond The Law
Alex loves to experience different cultures through travel.
Her perfect holiday involves sunshine, spending time with her children and experiencing a mix of city sightseeing and time spent relaxing by the pool.
Alex’s twin sons share her passion for history and culture and, with Alex being from a Greek family, they plan to soon visit Piraeus and the Acropolis in Athens, before enjoying the incredible food and beaches that the country offers.
Alex also loves to read, primarily fiction books, and is currently working her way through the 'Thursday Murder Club' series.
