About Abbi

By working in law, Abbi has followed in the footsteps of generations of her family, and she has been an integral member of the Dutton Gregory team since January 2023.

With Abbi being surrounded by law professionals as she was growing up, it was natural for her ambitions to take her down the same path.

Why Personal Injury?

Abbi’s journey to Personal Injury began with a role in the NHS as a secretary to Cancer Nurse Specialists before moving into a role in Litigation.

Abbi joined Dutton Gregory in 2023, starting in our Medical Negligence team before moving into her current role as a specialist in Personal Injury in mid-2025.

This role is of great interest to Abbi as it marries the skills and knowledge acquired through the experience gained in her previous roles as medical secretary with her expertise in her current field.

Rewarding Elements

Understandably, Abbi deals with clients going through a difficult period in their lives and being able to support with knowledge and compassion allows people to find a sense of closure and move on with their lives, which Abbi finds to be very rewarding.

Beyond the Law

Abbi enjoys unwinding to a good tv series, her favourite being Friends.

“The light-hearted and witty humour never fails to make me laugh”, she says.

Areas of Specialty

Abbi’s areas of speciality include Personal Injury and Medical Negligence.

Thank you to Abbi for being so attentive, so organised and two steps ahead of everything going on.

Thank you for your support through a difficult time and for your sensitivity and compassion with my son and I during the period of working together and especially when taking the witness statements.

You went above and beyond and I will absolutely recommend you to family and friends.

Your calm and reassurance have been so important to us and you helped us get where we needed to be too. Thank you.

It was such a relief for both of us that you finally managed to break the deadlock and to get an acceptable offer without having to go to court.

Thank you so very much for your skill and persistence in this – and thank you also for all your advice.

It was particularly helpful to speak with you and to understand more about the process.

Well done to you.

March 2026

I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I am so grateful that the case was finally resolved.

You were always very professional – and so productive, especially in the last few weeks when the results came so quickly.

I would definitely recommend you.
