What To Expect:
Abi Sinden (Dutton Gregory), Jonathan Rees (College Chambers) and the College of Legal Practice will be sharing their career journeys, provide insight into the legal profession, and explain how skills developed through non-law degrees are highly valued by employers.
There will be business stands, where you can ask questions, explore different career paths, and learn about opportunities across the legal sector.
To gain practical advice on applications, recruitment processes, and what firms look for in future trainees.
Including those who entered law through both a law degree and those who have entered through different routes, as they share their experiences and advice on transitioning into the profession.

19:05 – Abi Sinden, Partner and Head of Commercial at Dutton Gregory from a background as a Pub Landlady to a Corporate Commercial Lawyer.
19:20 – Jonathan Rees, Barrister at College Chambers, who’s career started as a Police Officer.
19:35 – College of Legal Practice on the Technical Element of Transferring into Legal.
19:50 – Closing – Dr Emma Nottingham, Head of Law at the University of Winchester.
19:55 – Networking, Drinks & Canapes.
