Darren Tibble

Darren Tibble is a Partner in our Chandler’s Ford office, who joined Dutton Gregory in 2024.

Darren has over 20 years’ experience as an employment law specialist. He advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Darren has extensive experience in corporate and transactional work and large-scale collective consultations and redundancy programmes. Darren also undertakes a significant amount of complex litigation in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal. Darren supports clients in a wide range of areas including:

• Redundancies, restructuring and collective dismissals
• Employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing of services and TUPE
• Employment aspects of TUPE in relation to insolvent businesses
• Advice on complex disciplinary and grievance processes
• Appointment and termination of senior executives and settlement agreements
• Discrimination, diversity, and equal opportunities issues
• Drafting and advising on employment contracts, service agreements and employment policies
• Employment Tribunal litigation, mediation, and dispute resolution

Over the years, Darren has advised clients who are large public listed companies, universities, housing associations, local authorities, and SMEs, as well as senior executives.

Darren is also a keen public speaker and has a long history of speaking at seminars, conferences, and training events to share his knowledge and experience of employment law.

Darren is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Outside work, Darren enjoys mountaineering, rugby and trying to tame his mad Labrador!
