Venus Awards Dorset - Finalists announced

The Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth hosted this year’s Finalist’s Announcement of the Dorset Venus Awards in association with Mercedes-Benz of Poole on Friday 2nd September 2016, where Dutton Gregory announced the three lucky finalists in their category; Small Business.

Over 100 guests that included Semi-finalists, Sponsors and guests were treated to an afternoon tea in the hotel’s stunning art-deco surroundings while waiting for the big announcement about who would progress as Finalists to the Venus Awards Winners Ceremony in October.

The Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy. The Awards are unique in that anyone can nominate a friend, client or family member.

The event not only raises the profile of women in business, but also supports good causes along the way.  This year’s Charity Sponsor is BOO whose aim is to help African children who are disadvantaged through economic poverty.

The Venus journey will culminate in a glamorous Ceremony and Gala Dinner to be held at Bournemouth International Centre on Thursday 20th October 2016.
