Dutton Gregory, solicitors, is delighted to announce the appointment of Carol Maunder to the role of President of the Bournemouth & District Law Society.
Carol is a partner at Dutton Gregory, solicitors and Head of the Clinical Negligence Department based in Bournemouth. She is a member of the AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) Panel, the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and was the first solicitor in Dorset to obtain a legal aid franchise to undertake clinical negligence work.
Her appointment as President of Bournemouth & District Law Society is for one year and will see Carol chairing a range of executive and general committee meetings, hosting dinners and a European conference in Nice and Monaco later this year.
Carol stated “being appointed President of the Bournemouth & District Law Society is a great honour and I’m looking forward to being able to promote the wonderful work that the BDLS undertakes. Our industry is undergoing a huge amount of change and my role will enable me to support and encourage the new generation of lawyers as they qualify into their chosen career.”
