Andrew Webb - Winchester
Andrew is a senior partner in the firm having previously worked in local government
as a childcare lawyer. He has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel
for over 20 years and has considerable experience in dealing with all legal
matters relating to families and in particular children. He has particular
expertise in adoption and care proceedings and has acted for all parties in
such matters. Andrew regularly lectures in childcare law and helps in the training
of social workers and other professionals in the field. He has also written
a number of guides to proceedings for potential clients.

Stephen Bowden - Winchester
Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1975 by 1977 had become Senior Assistant
Solicitor at Berkshire County Council. He undertook a high volume of child
protection court work in local government and, since entering private practice
in 1979, has continued to undertake public law Children Act work in the family
court, County Court and High Court. He regularly appears as advocate, almost
exclusively representing the interests of the child, either directly instructed
or in partnership with the court appointed Guardian. Stephen has been a member
of the Law Society's specialist Children Panel since its inception in 1985.
In 1996 Stephen was appointed a fee-paid Chairman of the Special Educational
Needs and Disability Tribunal as a result of which he hears appeals across
the country against decisions of Local Education Authorities affecting the
lives of children with special needs. Stephen is a partner of the firm.

Stephen Kent - Southampton
Stephen is a family law partner who brings balance and experience to work in
a field that covers both complex financial matters and disputes about children.
He has particular expertise in dealing for parties where there are substantial
assets and takes pride in ensuring his client obtains the best deal. He is
an accredited specialist with Resolution and subscribes to the principles in
their code of conduct.

Andrew Kirkconel - Southampton
Andrew qualified in 1980. His father and grandfather were both solicitors. For
the last 10 years he has specialised in Family Law with an emphasis on divorce
and financial settlements. He is a member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors
Family Law Association) and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in substantial
assets and advocacy. In 1993 he was appointed a Deputy District Judge. Andrew
is a partner in the firm.

Jane Dyson - Winchester
Jane is a partner working in the Family Department having been with Dutton Gregory
for 11 years, previously having worked at Hampshire Council as a childcare
lawyer for 18 years. She has been a member of the Children Panel for 10 years
and last year became a Solicitor Advocate. Jane specialises in all proceedings
involving children but particularly in care proceedings where she regularly
acts for parents and children.

Jane Le Vay
Jane is a partner in the Family Department. After qualifying she worked in London
before moving to Hampshire. For more than 20 years she has specialised in divorce
and financial settlements following relationship breakdown. Although based
in Winchester she has acted for clients from around the world. She is a Resolution
accredited specialist in Advanced Financial Provision and Children Law Private,
and an accredited mediator. She has been the Honorary Solicitor for the Winchester
Citizen's Advice Bureau, a member of the Resolution national training committee
and a member of the Winchester Community Legal Services Partnership.

Claire Evans - Bournemouth
Claire obtained her law degree from Birmingham University. She has worked in
private practice since 1987, qualifying in 1992. She has always undertaken
Family Law. She obtained specialist qualification in financial matters and
domestic violence in 2003. Claire joined the firm in 2002 to help set up the
new Bournemouth office. She specialises in divorce and relationship breakdown
cases for high net worth individuals. Claire is a member of Resolution, the
solicitors' Family Law association that believes in helping couples to go through
the process of a divorce with the least amount of acrimony.
