Andrew Webb

Andrew Webb - Winchester
Andrew is a partner in the firm and is head of the firms children and family department. He previously worked in local government as a childcare lawyer. He has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel for over 20 years and deals with all legal matters relating to families and in particular children. He has particular expertise in adoption and care proceedings and is recognised as a leading practitioner and advocate in his field. Andrew regularly lectures in childcare law and helps in the training of social workers and other professionals in the field. He has also written a number of guides to proceedings for potential clients.

Stephen Kent

Stephen Kent - Southampton
Stephen is a family law partner who brings balance and experience to work in a field that covers both complex financial matters and disputes about children. He has particular expertise in dealing for parties where there are substantial assets. He is an accredited specialist with Resolution and subscribes to the principles of its code of conduct. Stephen is a specialist collaborative family lawyer. This process means that negotiations are conducted at meetings with lawyers and clients present, legal and, as appropriate, other issues are explored and in this way clients are enabled to come to long lasting settlements reached by way of consensus and agreement. Many separating or divorcing clients welcome the opportunity through this process to work together and avoid the need to go to court.

   

Andrew Kirkconel

Andrew Kirkconel - Southampton
Andrew qualified in 1980 and became a partner in Dutton Gregory in 2006. For the last 15 years he has specialised in Family Law particularly Divorce and Financial settlements. He is a member of Resolution ( formerly Solicitors Family Law Association) and a Resolution Accredited Specialist in substantial assets cases undertaking a great deal of his own advocacy. He is also a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer. In 1993 he was appointed a Deputy District Judge and sits regularly on the Western Circuit.

Jane Dyson

Jane Dyson - Winchester
Jane is a partner working in the Family Department having been with Dutton Gregory since 1996. She has been a member of the Children Panel since 1997 and last year became a Solicitor Advocate. Jane specialises in all proceedings involving children but particularly in care proceedings where she is regarded as a leading practitioner and advocate.

   

Jane Le Vay

Jane Le Vay - Winchester
Since 1987 Jane has specialised in divorce and financial settlements following relationship breakdown. She has acted for clients from around the world. She is a Resolution accredited specialist in Advanced Financial Provision and Children Law Private, and an accredited mediator. She has been the Honorary Solicitor for the Winchester Citizen's Advice Bureau, a member of the Resolution national training committee and a member of the Winchester Community Legal Services Partnership.

   

Claire Evans

Claire Evans - Bournemouth
Claire obtained her law degree from Birmingham University and qualified in 1992.  Since 1987 she has specialised in family law.  She deals with all areas of family law but specialises in financial cases in divorce and separation.  She is especially experienced in acting for high net worth clients. Claire is the family partner at our Bournemouth office.

   

Sarah Ferrari

Sarah Ferrari - Southampton
Sarah Ferrari works in the Family Department as an in-house barrister. Called to the Bar in 1993 she practiced from local Chambers, specialising in family law and public law child protection. For the last 8 years she has worked for Hampshire County Council advising and representing the Children's Services' Department on all aspects of child protection, public law care and adoption proceedings. Sarah, who is recognised as a leading practitioner and advocate, joined Dutton Gregory in 2009

   

Deborah Lasenby

Deborah Lasenby - Bournemouth
Deborah qualified as a solicitor in 1994, having trained with Dutton Gregory. Deborah returned to Dutton Gregory in 2006 and has specialised in all aspects of children's law since 1993 regularly acting for children and parents in care proceedings. Deborah has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel for 10 years

   

Karen Andrews

Karen Andrews - Southampton
Karen qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and worked for one of the leading law firms in the South West before joining Dutton Gregory in 1999. She specialises in family law, and has extensive experience in many areas including divorce, finances and children. Karen is a member of Resolution and is an Advanced Member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel.

   

Joanne Everett

Joanne Everett - Southampton
Joanne trained with Dutton Gregory and qualified in 2005. Joanne specialises in all aspects of relationship breakdown, including financial matters and child disputes. Joanne also represents parents and other relatives in care proceedings. Joanne is a member of Resolution and is the Honorary Solicitor for Winchester Citizens Advice Bureau.

   

Sarah Lankford

Sarah Lankford - Winchester
Sarah qualified in 2007 having been a trainee solicitor at Dutton Gregory and took up a post in the family department, mainly working in public law and private law children matters. Sarah had previously worked in adult social care for 15 years.

   
Vicky Pearce

Vicky Pearce - Winchester
Vicky Pearce is a Family Law Solicitor who qualified in October 2009, having completed her Training Contract with Dutton Gregory. Vicky’s primary interests lie in both public and private law children matters. Prior to retraining, Vicky obtained a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and an MSC in Operations Management,. She had a successful career with Gillette, working in their Supply Chain Planning department from 1999 to 2007. She gained her legal qualifications by studying part time at the College of Law whilst continuing to work full time at Gillette.

   

Fiona McGeachie

Fiona McGeachie - Winchester
Fiona joined the Family Department of Dutton Gregory in 2006 having previously worked in Basingstoke doing public funded Divorce and Children Act matters.  Fiona is a Paralegal Assistant to Jane Dyson specialising in public law matters.  Fiona is an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives and is a member of Resolution.

   

Nicola Preston

Nicola Preston - Bournemouth
Nicola studied a Business Law Degree at Bournemouth University and completed the Legal Practice Course with the College of Law in York.  She completed her training with a firm in West Dorset and has specialised in family work since 2006.  Nicola qualified as a solicitor in 2007.  She joined the Bournemouth team of Dutton Gregory in January 2010 undertaking all areas of work relating to Children Law including private law contact and residence disputes and care proceedings.  She also has extensive knowledge of domestic violence law, divorce and separation and finances.  Outside of work Nicola enjoys rock climbing, clay pigeon shooting and going to the cinema.
